Selangor King of the Mountain (Selangor K.O.M) is a premier hill climb cycling race organized by the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS), continuing the proud legacy of the renowned "Kayuhan Raja Bukit". Over the years, it has grown into one of the most prestigious and influential cycling hill climb events in the country, attracting elite and amateur cyclists from Malaysia and around the world.

The success of previous editions highlights the international appeal of the event. In the 2025 edition, Selangor K.O.M proudly welcomed participants from more than 22 different nationalities, further establishing its reputation as a truly global cycling challenge.

The race covers an approximate distance of 40 kilometers, starting from the historic town of Kuala Kubu Bharu, traversing Federal Route 55 and culminating at Fraser's Hill at an elevation of 1,456 meters above sea level. With a total ascent of around 1,200 meters, the route presents a true test of physical endurance, mental strength and rave strategy.

Selangor K.O.M is more than just a competitive race, it is a platform for cyclists to push their limits while experiencing the breathtaking natural beauty of Hulu Selangor. Safety and event efficiency remain top priorities with comprehensive support including medical teams, hydration stations and technical assistance provided throughout the course.

For the Selangor K.O.M 2026 edition, the event is set to further strengthen its role as a catalyst for sports tourism and local economic development, while continuing to position Hulu Selangor as a premier cycling destination of national and international standing.
