The Northernmost International Bird Race is a bird watching competition or the observation of bird species that can be done with the naked eye, binoculars, telescope and sound.
Objectives
- To cultivate awareness and interest in the environment, especially flora and fauna, and the importance of its conservation.
- To introduce and promote the location of the Perlis State Park, Wang Kelian as an attractive ecological tourism destination.
- To increase knowledge about various types of birds through observation and sound identification.
- To develop teamwork spirit through searching and recording bird species.
- To promote healthy recreational activities.
